Setting out from Calgary, travel to Dinosaur Valley. Upon arrival, visit the visitor center to examine fossils and artifacts from over 40 dinosaur species. Enhance your understanding of prehistoric life with an optional visit to the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology. Continue to Horseshoe Canyon, where the Red Deer River meanders through steep, stratified canyons. Conclude your day with intimate views of the area’s towering hoodoo rock formations, sculpted into columns over centuries.

From Calgary: Waterton Lakes National Park Day Tour

Embark on a full-day excursion around the rugged landscapes of Waterton Lakes National Park, winding along lakeside roads amidst craggy peaks. Witness the vibrant strata of colorful canyons and encounter herds of bison grazing in open grasslands.

Your journey begins with a visit to the historic Prince Wales Hotel, an iconic Canadian landmark.

Next, explore the vibrant Waterton Town before heading to Cameron Falls, a picturesque spot with cascading mountain water rushing over Cambrian rock.

Then, marvel at the layers of red and green minerals at Red Rock Canyon.
Finally, visit Buffalo Paddock, where, if open, you can observe the largest mammals of the American prairie from a distance.

Note: If Buffalo Paddock is closed, we’ll visit the Okotoks Big Rock instead, where you can explore a geological wonder formed by dislodged rocks that traveled on top of a glacier thousands of years ago.

Cancellation policy for all private transfer and tours

The following terms apply to cancellations and changes:

  • Decrease the number of participants within the same booking

  • Cancel the entire booking

  • Amend the itinerary

  • Adjust the departure date while retaining the same itinerary

  • Increase the number of travelers in the itinerary (Subject to resource availability corresponding to the itinerary dates)

  • Modify the name of a traveler on the itinerary.

  1. No refunds are applicable for changes or cancellations to an entire booking, including activities, meals, tickets, pre-paid items, within 7 days of departure.
  2. No alterations can be made within 7 days before departure.
  3. A service fee of CAD$50 per change per booking is applicable for changes or cancellations made more than 7 days before departure.
  4. When amending your booking, you may incur additional costs, penalties, or service fees due to resource circumstances.
  5. In the event of cancellation or modification, bank wire fees, merchandise fees, credit card service fees, etc., will be deducted from your refund.
  6. Accommodation cancellations or changes require 31 days notice without penalty.
  7. All changes or cancellations must be communicated via email. Verbal requests will not be accepted.
  8. Cancellations and refunds will be processed within 1-7 business days.

This service is weather-dependent. In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, you will have the option to reschedule for another date or receive a full refund.

Cool Banff Tours & Transportation reserves the right to modify or cancel scheduled transfer, trip, and tour services in unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel, you will receive a refund. Cool Banff Tours & Transportation cannot be held responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from such circumstances.
